Sometimes...

Sometimes you must plan the words, so that they fall perfectly, one after another, and land in order on the page.

Sometimes you must ponder and think about what to say so as not to offend anyone around.

But sometimes you must let the words go, let them flow and slide, and ebb and rage out. You must let them be, be what they want to be. You must let the words be what they want to be when they grow up. You must laugh and put that laughter on those pages. You must cry and let every teardrop fall onto those pages.

And that's when brilliancy comes, when you let it come. When you welcome every word, as a friend. No matter how odd, it is. Words like, bumble, and quiver, and billow and snickity snack.

So, farewell to carefully planned blog posts, farewell to pre-written words to say to someone one the phone, farewell to normalcy.

If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.

Bahahaha, hello friends, sorry for this awfully hair-brained post, I've been trying and trying to write something, but being busy with my story and other such life related things (I hate how reality gets in the way so much) I just haven't had the time to come up with something brilliant, so therefore, I just opened a new post and tried to put words on it. You can see how well that worked. ;) Soon I will come up with a brilliant post, you just wait. And for the record, it's currently eleven P.M. that must have something to do with my insanity.

Also, here's an amazing bag my sister made for me. I know, she's awesome.

  1. I absolutely love this post! It,s so beautifully written, so wonderful. It seems that you really managed to let your words go and fall onto pages. I admire the way you write, you always find the right words.

  2. Oh my stars, that bag is absoloutely darling! I adore it. Love it. Want it.

Moving on. I know how you feel about writing. Usually, whenever I write something (especially for blogging) I usually write without much planning. Nearly everything is written on a whim. I suppose that goes the same for my stories, too. It's in those moments that something wonderful can form.

I look forward to those not-so-normal future blog posts. :)

Oh, and that picture of the sunset..? Gasp. It's stunning.

  3. Yes, that sunset picture is truly scruptious!!! I love how all the little clouds are breaking apart and yet together.....maybe this is like your words? tiny raindrops make up a lake...... sorry that is not metaphorical or anything....just came to me...

  4. As I read your post, the owl whispered this to me---"The star's lean down to kiss you, and I lie awake and miss you. Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere...." I do believe you're meant for each other :)

  5. @MaryRachel, haha, my little brother.

@Vera, thank you, thank you. Haha, definitely not always, I seem to use the same word in one sentence a lot. ;P Also can't wait for the email, and not being blogger smart I suppose you have found my email or something. Sorry I'm for being so curious, just let me know if all the questions are getting old.

@Kim, hahahaha pluhbbb (that was me sticking my tongue out). Just kidding, though I am really in love with my bag, I take it everywhere (hehe, I even have a name for it).

I know, sometimes it comes out good and sometimes it comes out looking like (pardon my language) crap. Hey, can you relate, I feel like my writing only comes out inspired late at night. I don't know if it's because without the incessant siblings talk I can actually here myself thing, or I just like night that much. Anyways, I'm waiting for more posts by you, too. ;)

@Sarah, thank you. Haha, I like your metaphors that are not metaphors. Which brings me to a funny story, so we (Micah and I) had to write a scholarship essay for our music workshop, and we had to send it Post haste, so anyways, I wrote mine and I have this metaphor at the end that makes no sense whatsoever, but I sent it. Now I'm just praying I won't have to read out loud.

@Ellie, Finally I have someone who can protect me from the slanders of your sister against your sister. ;)
Thank you, though. I love people who quote owl city.
